The way Microsoft transforming MS Teams is incredibly awesome and no way to compare with any other tech-giants in the market – The upcoming features proves that Microsoft dedicatedly giving ears and eyes – understands the real business need to make the experience better. The way Microsoft approach the needs is definitely not a reaction to the current situation rather its a conscious response to the universal needs. Tech-giant for a reason !
Lets see we what’s happening in MS Teams in 2020, we all aware, as a part of Teams new meeting experience – Microsoft rolled out lot of features such as large gallery view, together mode, etc., Now in this article we are going to see few upcoming eye catching features .

Background Scenes for Together Mode
By end of this calendar year you can transport / time travel your team to variety of virtual locations to set the tone and create the experience for your meeting, It could be a auditorium, a conference room, a coffee shop or much more..
Later this year, custom layouts expected to be rolled out – While presenting a PowerPoint to your customer with custom layouts , participants will be able to see the presenter’s video feed transposed onto the foreground of the slide your are showing.
Breakout Rooms – Groups of Meeting in One meeting
Breakout Rooms is one of the cool feature – this is a meeting inside a meeting. Breakout rooms allows an organizer to split his meeting for a brainstorming session or a group discussion. In other words, Organizers can choose to hop between breakout rooms, make announcements to all breakout rooms, and/or close the breakout rooms that then bring everybody back into the main meeting.
New Calling Experience
By end of this year , Microsoft is simplifying the calling experience with a streamlined view that shows contacts, voicemail and calling history at one place, which makes it easier to initiate or return a call with a single click.
Collaborative Calling for Service Desk & IT Admins
Collaborative calling enables customers to connect a call queue to a channel in Teams for collaboration – This feature is ideal for scenarios such as an IT help desk or HR hotline. IT admins can quickly connect call queues to specific channels, and team owners can manage the specific settings.
New Calling Plan Countries
Last but not least – On October 1st Microsoft expanding the number of Microsoft Calling Plan countries. New countries will include Austria, Denmark, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, and Switzerland.
