Using Cortana voice assistance in the Teams mobile app users can now streamline communication, collaboration, and meeting-related tasks using spoken natural language. United State users can start speaking to Cortana by clicking the microphone button located in the upper right of the Teams mobile app.

By Default, Cortana is a Voice Enabled virtual assistant – In case if you wanted to use Cortana in Text only mode, go-ahead and mute by tapping the speaker icon at the let bottom as shown in the figure.
